Dyffryn Gardens 2014 - Maple Orange

The Japanese Maple is another traditional bonsai species. Acer palmatum is a deciduous tree with 5-pointed or palmate leaves. Again this tree has been styled in an ‘Informal Upright’ way, though not in the same way as the tapering s-shape of the trees before.

  1. Thanks Dave, that’s fantastic.
Lovely writing and also the pictures.

  2. Lovely Site, I missed the show this year, it was really nice to see in such clarity on a easy to use site well done, a fab turn out. Well done Paul for the Crataegus It’s a stunner. I’ve got a nice goats year willow in a bucket to swap you for it.

    Thanks
    Jules
